That should sound really good man. My exhaust shop is untouchable when it comes to their level of quality crafstmanship so the install time is quite a bit longer than I think you would see from most exhaust shops. My guy spent about 8 hours on the install and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. There's no one else I would trust to touch the exhaust on my car.

So with a new intake (say, the in Injen which has a good AFR design), these shorties, and an exhaust do we think a tune is necessary? From all of this vast information I've read, I kind of gather that a tune wasn't as necessary for shorties as they are long tubes, but I wanted to get opinions. I mean, sure you could probably grab an extra horse or two with a catered tune, but is it really necessary to avoid a bad AFR and a CEL?

These shorties have my interest, but I'm not sure if I want to do a tune.

I have been wondering the same thing.

MARLEY,
i've noticed you have the phantom grille,
and nice car/sound by the way, but
can you send me a pic of the front of your car with the halos on? and a pic with all the lights on?

the reason is because i really like this grille but i just bought AAC Blue halos and i didnt wanna end up buying the phantom grille if the grille completely ruins the purpose of the Blue halos...
thanks!

Thanks for the compliments guys.

@CrunkGJ1230 - Thats not a phantom grille. Its the heritage grille with a rider graphix flat blackout under it and the headlights tinted.

@Synergy - He quoted me a total for the job up front and it was a fair price for 4 hours of labor. He just takes his time and measures and re-measures to make sure its perfect. He also rust proofs all the welds and test fits everything twice.

Right!??

Can't wait to see that DT Catback on your insanely SG car.

Marley, excellent write up my friend! Excellent. Your guy knows what he's doing there. Good job on the welds and mock up. I dig the clips, very well done.

Thank you for posting up yet another fantastic thread on the product!

Round 2 is going down if you are interested guys and gals!

Sound great and looks great too.

I am certainly interested in this mod and would love to know how things are going with folks without Tunes being done to the car. I think this is a valid combination and would sound awesome with my Cat Back system.

You are right, the welds look great on yours and it looks like a great job done.

I have my car scheduled to have the DT shorties and the Injen CAI installed this Friday! I can't wait!

BTW I have the Solo Performance cat-back so mine may sound a little different still.
