I too am hoping to break into the 11s next time out, I just installed a DSS 9" kit with 4.57 gears!

I also finally got back on the dyno and did 432/427.

Haven't heard from you in a while ser. Glad to hear the build is almost done and you clearly need to share with the rest of the class!

does anyone have install instructions on one of their bars? 1200 is kinda steep too for a plain steel bar. no?
$1,200 is on the low end for a proper roll bar. Custom shops will go over 2k. If you want to hydrodip and clear then you are looking at close to $2,600.

It's times like these that I miss my 98 SS. It's a damn shame what people charge for 5th gen products just because it's the newest thing out. I remember putting a 5 point cromoly roll bar in my 98 SS 10 years ago for $360.

When it comes time for me to do a roll bar, I'm gonna go to Wolfe Race Craft and build my own custom roll bar. I can weld it up myself. Hopefully they will be interested in making a template so they can mass produce them.

Here is a pic of what the roll bar i put in 10 years ago looked like.

It is the RPM bolt in 6 point roll cage - mine is chrome moly IOM paint. Best to contact Tim and tell him Allan with the convertible sent you! You have options when you order based on want you want. Have fun

I raced mine a few weeks ago without using the tracking control button and did 13.85 @ 105. See the video http://youtu.be/VJYCkvYJ2B8

That's a really nice vert! Are you planning to put a full cage in it? Your set up looks like it will easily get you under 10.49 seconds.

Is there anyway my 2013 SS L99 convertible with just a C.A.I. CAI, VMax TB, Range AFM delete, stock Pzeros with drop coils and ZLspec sways could run 12.9? Of course, I would have to have nice temps and a good 60'. Not interested in putting on headers in California and I am trying not to void the warranty. I see that stock LS3 convertibles run +/- 13.2, but, I haven't seen or heard of any L99 convertibles in mainly stock daily driving trim do this.

With drag radials you can break into the upper 12s.

Thanks Falundir. No way with street tires? Is there other bolt-on mods you would add that would be easy to R&R, i.e.; like the CAI, etc. if I were to visit a dealer for warranty work possibly related to that problem? I already know my Hotchkis springs and my Pfadt ZL sways would not be worth taking out in case of a strut failure, which, I would accept. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Alan, if you don't mind a few questions; When you remove it are there mounting brackets sticking out , or anything else that impacts the seating? When it's in, do you have to remove panels or anything?
