How to prevent swirl marks?

Hey guys,
What are you using to prevent swirl marks when you wash your ZL1? Is microfiber the way to go?

Search 2 bucket wash. Poor washing techniques are the root causes of most of the swirling issues you might be having. Correcting them is another issue, but washing the right way is the first thing to master.

2 bucket wash is one way, the way I like to do it is the rinseless wash way where you only use one bucket and retire the microfiber after first use. Retire as in put away, not throw away forever.

Here's how I do it:

I used a 2 bucket wash with grit guards and air dry with a leaf blower. The less you touch the surface of the paint, the less likely you are to cause swirls.

Depends. Do you like or hate your car?

The looks you get from your neighbors are priceless. But then after they see my car pull out of the garage, they drool and I end up working on their car the following weekend lol.

If you get funny looks from using a leaf blower, you see the looks I get from my Master Blaster. I literally have people stop and ask what the heck I'm doing.

True.
I use a blower to start with to push the majority of the water off and it's also is great at blowing it off/out of small places like the bezels around the tail lights, front grille, wheels (by the lug nuts), etc. Saves alot of time when you just have to get the remaining areas.

My wife, and neighbors for that matter think I'm nuts as it is cleaning my car every other day in freezing temps. My wife would probably have me committed if she saw me with a leaf blower in hand blowing off my car.
