Man....looking at all this makes me .

I dunno. I don't think I have half of this stuff. This is making me want to pay someone, lol. Maybe not $460.....but maybe I'll find something cheaper.

Thanks for the help though guys.

Unfortunately we don't have a V6 LT solution. We had a couple cars go into DT for prototype. One stole the only prototype set and never returned to DT for production, the other one never followed up.

Still looking for a 2010/2011 if you're in the Corona, CA area btw....Free Set to ya!

26 hour drive....just sayin. LOL Yeah, it's amazing what some folks charge customers for things. LOL

This makes life a little easier for sure but you can use a 7/8 open ended wrench the same. Just make sure it's not a cheesy wrench that will slip off the HO2....them wrenches with the little cut in horizontal teeth work awesome and that's all I use.

I called another shop (XXX Motorsports in Pensacola) and they quoted me at $450. Looks like that's around the going rate.

let me ask you, did you ask for their hourly rate, or just ask them how much to install headers for a Camaro?

No man, I didn't. Haha

But the guy knew exactly what he was talking about, it seemed. He knew that for the v6 Camaro they charged exactly that amount for LT header installation.

Nah man....look them up!! That's really their name! LOL. They apparently work with a lot of Camaros in the area so that's why I figured he knew that's what they were going to charge regardless of the hourly rate. At least...that's the way it seemed to me.

Also dont be afraid to haggle a little bit.

Ask them if they would do it for like 350 for instance and say you would pay in cash.

I bet they would say ok, they are just trying to see if you will bite on the super high price like alot of their customers probably do.

I go to a place called mexico mufflers, and they told my bro 300 to install springs. I got them down to 100 bucks lol although it is hard to communicate.

Hey just throwing this out there but maybe you could message Matt from FSP see when the next time he will be in PC and see how much he will charge for the install. And maybe if you go for the IPF tune he can give you some type of special pricing. Not sure how he does business but it doesn't hurt to ask.
