Unhappy How Do I Fix These Cracks In Paint?

Well I know I can't fix it but is there something I can do so it doesn't get worst or chip? I think this has been like this since I got it so almost 2 years. The hood is aftermarket and its airbrushed. It is right above a vent so heat gets to it. I can feel it with my fingers.

you need to repair and have a new person fix/match the airbrushing. find the guys who paint harley tanks... I'm sure he'll match it up fine.

What is it? It doesn't look like any part of a Camaro. Knowing what it is might influence repair suggestions.

Nothing you can do that won't be a huge pain in the arse for the result it will produce. You COULD try filling with clear, then sanding smooth and polishing. It won't make it look any better and the odds that it will stop further cracking are about 50/50.

You can't really fix that easy, the whole panel was improperly prepped, paint laid too thick on it.

That is not salvageable. The substrate is cracking, probably plastic filler that cracked because the amount of flex around that vent.

Heat isn't really an issue for bc/cc paint. The engine bay and underside of the hood have paint from the factory.

Grind all that out and re do or put the stock hood back on and you won't have those types of problems.
