I think this will be cost prohibitive due to the limits of the transmission and auto rear end. Now 75 lbs of tq would fit in.

Supercharger all the way!
Add value to the car, don't take it away!

$600.00 for some NOS sure seems like a cheap and quick fix..

Cheap and quick fixes aren't necessarily good. What I would be asking Ace is whether or not that does any damage over time to the engine or other components. It's also a matter of what you are looking for....just a quick boost for street racing, additional power all the time, or are you taking the car out on track some times?

Done right N2O, can be a great setup! The key is to do it right and not get greedy! N2O can be a blast! No turbo to spool up and no parasitic drag of a supercharger... The instant torque is very addictive!

Now that being said... First, N20 is pretty pointless on the street... and in most states it is illegal for street use and in fact i think in most states you can't have the bottle hooked up! N20 really is simply for the track!

Second... the $600 is just to get you started... don't forget things like a window switch, purge setup, bottle warmer and blow down tube... you can easily get up to $1000... Then there are the bottle refills. Most likely you'll be paying $50 for a 10 pound bottle... you can probably get 10 to 12 1/4 mile with the 55 HP jets... and then there is the inconvenience of getting the bottle filled..

Third... I feel there are more things that can go wrong with N20... you are basically at the mercy of a nozzle. What happens when a solenoid stick open... what happens when the fuel jet clogs and you are only spraying N2O... I just feel there are more things that can go wrong with this type of setup...

If your a cheap and quick kind of guy then it's for you!
Nitrous can be very safe for your motor if you have the combination set right and no "gremlins" turn up. If you have a fuel problem and the system leans out, BAM! the nitrous can be unforgiving.
I had a new 86 Z28 back in the day and ran hundreds of pound of nitrous through the car. When I sold it it was still going strong at 107,000 miles.
Alot of it depends on how well you take care of business. One mistake and you will pay.
Also be cautious of dealing with the bottle. An open or damaged bottle in an enclosed environment can kill in a heart beat in several ways!

I guess I just don't understand the people that have a V6 and want to
supercharge it to get V8 performance.
A supercharger will cost around $8k installed and tuned.
You lose all factory warranty.
So why not spend that extra $8k at the time you buy your Camaro,
finance it and buy a 1SS or 2SS.
Then you will have the same extra power, with full factory warranty.
No brainer!!
