Met Bumblebee Tonight.
The GM team told me this was actually 1 of the 2 GTO/Camaros used in TF1/TF2. One of the headlight lenses is cracked and there is a LOT of dust/sand like material in it....id assume from filming the final desert scenes of TF2:ROTF
Also on display was a CTS-V Coupe, Regal GS, Indy500 2SS, Corvette GS, a Spark LT (next to bumblebee of course), Sierra Denali, And a GM Performance Division 4th Gen Trans Am i got there as they were starting to clean up so i did not get pix of anything but bumblebee. This was in "Northwood Shopping Center" at 13 Mile and Woodward Ave (they were having a GM event tonight) For other Michigan people watch for bumblebee spottings this weekend at the Dream-cruise. Possibly in their lot display in the parking lot of village automotive (used to be Village Chrysler) it seems it is not made to run for extended periods of time tho. they were shutting it off every time it had to idle, and restarting it to move it a few feet. they did not do this while loading any of the other vehicles. Everyone was gathered around it going "LOOK ITS THE NEW Z/28!!!!"

yeah, i've seen it up close, but i wasn't able to get that close..lol. i thought they retired that car and it wasn't gonna make anymore public appearances? guess not! that's cool!!

Wow... I heard rumors that they were finished with these cars all together and that they were not showing them anymore. Thats really cool!
