I'm a big fan of Two-Tone. I think that Camaro is going to look sick in Two-tones, I'd like to see something out there though, that isn't expected..

Flat black is the hardest color to wash. Because they're no clear, the bugs get embedded further into the paint, so you will NEVER get some of the guts out. You cant really wax flat black, you cant polish it. It's a very difficult color. But it looks great when you first paint it!

I would recommend going with a gloss black.

If you paint the top black your engine compartment will be blue, unless you pull the motor & all related. That would be way expensive. I bought a IOM ss/rs and intend to paint the sides in a White pearl fad (getting darker from top to bottom) and break it with a blue ban, much like your design. You may want to do something with the sides, easier & less expensive. That is what I do-paint.

Good luch eithor way & enjoy your Camaro

well i kinda get what you are saying soo umm ..since its the bottom part of the camaro i will have to get the engine compartment painted blue?

***I could always get Aqua blue metallic and get it painted black ***

Also I am having serious doubts about doing the 2 tone :(

I bet if or when i get my 2 tone done people will call my Camaro a Ricer here
because i plan to get the v6. (SS Insurance would Kill me)

Why would i care what other people think about my car

I'm on a :seesaw: on what i want to or don't want to do

i like the look the way it is in jinxs rendering. i would go with a gloss black though but im kinda old school. the medium blue would be awesome though for the bottom color! hope you decide to do it. would love to see it in real life.

Love the color combo and the set up.

However, don'tcha think flat black would be a **** to keep clean? I mean....I dunno. I would sway to a nice polished and shine type black. Not metallic....just glossy...like a mirror shine.

Well if I drive around Elmhurst and see a two-toned Camaro, I'll know it's you!

two tone still sounds like a winner. You've seen Pinks and Dales. They BOTH look great. Keep us informed on your ideas. Doing it like Pinks will keep you from having to do all the door jams and all. I'm sure it'll look great.
