I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the kind words about the build, they are greatly appreciated. Also, Eric appreciates the kind words about him and his performance. Anyone who doubts how great of a guy Eric is, I'd just like to let you know he is nothing short of a stellar person.

The picture angles and lighting offer a bit of an optical illusion concerning space constraints, everything is actually clearanced rather well.

Locating and purchasing the car was left to us, we chose the six-speed manual 2SS simply because the electronics would be simpler for our stand-alone transmission system. Essentially, we're changing the steering wheel, shifter console, brake pedal, brake master-cylinder reservoir and of course the electronics. It's generally straight forward once the transmission is in place, we had to do a little bit of fabricating to make the 4L80E fit the transmission tunnel and mount up properly.

Looks like a fun build.
Remaining consistent with our over engineered theory of this vehicle (i.e. the powertrain is built to sustain 2,000hp+), we needed the drivetrain to follow suit. The highest horsepower we've seen a fully built 6L80E handle is shade over 1,000whp. We wanted the factor of failure to be around 60% at maximum operation, so the built 6L80E was out of the question. With the four speed and proper gearing in the transmission and third member, it will drive nicely on the street and still put the power down.

Haha, that was me.

Come stop by and check out this car when you're in Wilmington again, I'd be happy to give you a tour and talk Camaros.

When can we see the finish product? and what was the total cost. I like the upgrade but silver would have been better.

Yea I'm pretty sure the front office of the Kansas City Chiefs would be upset about this. Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals is obsessed with supercars and their front office absolutely hates that he has a few insanely fast cars.

Oh well, it's always better than driving motorcycles and hurting yourself like Kellen Winslow Jr.

Yeap, lots of pro athletes and celebs are GREAT, when you read something like this you realize there really are many amazing examples of huge human hearts out there, and a few even more exceptional like Eric. Eric sounds like the kind of person I'd be humbled and thankful to meet (esp if hes in his new Camaro!). I will pay attention to his 1st season with great interest. From all I have read and seen so far he is the kind of man I'd like to hang around with and catch a game or race with. I'd definitely buy him a beer! Eric man thank you for spending your time with children and revitalizing your community, I greatly admire your diligence and integrity. Hope you have a great year man and congratulations on getting signed as well as the sickest Camaro I have ever seen!

When will there be pics of the exterior modifications? With a pocketbook, and I'm sure good taste, like Eric Berry's, I'm sure the exterior will be just as amazing!

I think at this point everyone needs to use this build as the new marker. WOW!!!
However since most of us dont have 138K to invest in one shot I guess we can talk about our measly upgrades.
