No, it started acting up on me about a week ago and I wanted to know if I could take it to a dealer and be able to get it replaced with the newer one or have the software updated without any cost to me. Thanks.

Was attempting to address the PDIM issue only. But believe the AC applys to 2011s, only.

MARTYBMW, let us know how it goes for you with your dealer. chatoic84, you should be able to get your software updated and your module upgraded. If your dealer gives you any push-back let me know.

Since you brought it up, I don't guess GM is going to reimburse me what I paid to upgrade my own PDIM?

You'll be my hero if you can swing that one.

I thought we answered your question. Did you ever call Gene Culley (GM Parts House, 484.949.2099)? He's the one who can tell you what part numbers are in the kit.

I'm pretty sure he speaks Canadian.

I took my car in to the dealership today for a couple of issues, one being that my drivers seat keeps coming loose at the front bottom, and second the issue with the PDIM. I have a Pre-Order car, low Vin #7757. Well I have finally gotten the dealership to order the New Part, hopefully. They are ordering #12884 module for my car.

For some reason I can't get to the 24th page of this thread. kmcd, if you would like to push for a reimbursement then I could try and get that going for you. Just send me your contact information and I'll work to get that going for you.
