Ordered my Camaro from the dealer, the next day I ordered the SLP eliminator from Amazon. I didn't get around to installing it until two weeks after I took delivery because I had to pick up ramps in order to get my jack under the car. During those two weeks I banged into 2nd gear three times and each time it threw me off and left me slowly loping across an intersection. It seemed completely random to me and only happened if I was following somebody driving ridiculously slow. As far as I'm concerned, if you have a manual transmission, you'd be crazy to not spend the $26 on it.

We have sold the SLP one for years with no issues. I know there are cheaper options, but at least with SLP you have a big name behind it and no potential quality issues.

I confirmed it today, my car does not have this activated, i drove for like 30 seconds in 1st gear at 16-18 mph, coolant temp was 180F, throttle less than 20% maybe they turned it off in the dealership or something.
