Me too!! I would imagine it's still a little early to get the counts though.

I know they didn't make too many Convertibles with the 6-sped stick, most were automatics. The only ones that are for sale across the country now are all automatics. I think there were about 47 of them last count a week ago.

That's a good question. Hopefully when the 5th Gen models are done we can get numbers on those special edition cars.

I appreciate the facts and figures. However, the posting with that kinetic like blue color that you CAN'T get in anything other than a hot wheels car is just frustrating.

2010 Totals

Wondering what information is out there on the total 2010 2SS produced. My vin is 2G1FK1EJ8A9197446 so I'm assuming it would be the 97,446th one off the line...correct? I have been a Trans AM guy for decades, but with Pontiac being gone I am now a Camaro man. After hunting for months I found a good deal back in June. 2010 2SS Inferno Orange with ALL the options, it just came to my dealer (NC) out of Utah...picked it up for $2,500 under bluebook, got a hell of a deal, this car is spotless and ONLY has 14,500 miles on her!

You would be correct. Probably one of the very last 2010's built.

Welcome to C5 and the Camaro. I was a Pontiac guy myself..

Any theories as to why much more Camaros sold are V6?
I just read an article where half of the Mustang sales are GT and the rest are split between EcoBoost and the V6.

Probably to sell more. They reach a different market with the 6.

Probably people that get scared off by V-8 gas mileage......plus with the LS3 or L99 you pretty much have to use 93 octane.

That's my theory anyways. I had both and the V-6 was only marginally better on gas mileage......in town that is. On the open road, my LS3 gets about the same, give or take an MPG or two.

I'm looking for 2014 info. Can I search this Camaro White Book or is it insider stuff? Thanks for your time.

I'm guessing they plan production according to previous sales. Since the V-6s are cheaper, more people that just want any Camaro can afford them, so more are sold. Funny thing though, is that during this Black Friday fire sale, there are tons of V6s around, and very few SSs. The SS models (which offer a greater savings dollar-wise) got snapped up. There are a lot of the top tier Camaros (ZL1 and Z28) left too. I guess since the advantages to those are all performance, only racers would have a reason to spent the extra cash for one.
