Okay, Can you explain what that means in terms of how I run wires to which?

What wires are you running to the switch.

That's what I'm asking you

use one set of numbers 1-4 that is all, if its not the way you want use the other set.

The red dot and blank is for the light inside the switch.

OK. FINALLY! This is how it needs to be wired. On one side of the switch, pins 1 and 2 work as normally closed and pins 3 and 4 work as normally open. On the other side of the switch, it is reversed. If you connect power directly to the LED pin (red dot), it will blow the LED as they are 1.8 volts. So I needed to use a 580 ohm resistor. Now, you can't connect the resistor directly to the LED pin either, or the LED will be on regardless whether or not the switch is on or off. SO...depending on which way you want to wire the switch (normally open or closed), pin 4 gets power in from battery, pin 3 is power out to accessory, with the resistor jumping out to the LED pin. The LED blank gets grounded. So now, the LED will only come on when the accessory out is getting power and go out when the switch is turned off. I'm attaching a drawing. I hope someone finds this useful.
