Put Your Creative Caps On

It's a few months away, but trust me, I was already putting thought into last year's line up for the Rhode Island show. This year is a bit different...

I NEED IDEAS!!!

Will already had the idea of doing NEC5 again, but actually organize the colors, as we now have plenty of cars of each color (except you ABM guys ).

So put your proverbial thinking caps of creativity on and post some ideas. We are likely to have more cars this year than last (there were 45 in that picture last year), so we'll have to think bigger, which also means we may need a different location - although I'm not sure if we can get a better location.

If you have a good idea, post it. If you think it's silly, PM me the idea anyway.

One or two similar colors per letter (VR,IOM) (Black, CGM,IBM) (SW, RY) (ABM,SGM) etc. The shape of the "E" and "C" needs to be better defined.

ABM had the same amount of guys as us IBMers :(

I don't see us having more than 60 this year (probably in the 50-55 range). Problem with the picture is we want it to be as close as possible to the location (or at least that what I assume). This leave very little room for us to get a suitable area. The best area is N. Attleboro (where it was done last year), as it's a shopping center therefore huge lots. However the mall is the only one that is more than a story, so unless we take it on a hill looking down it will have to be done somewhere in the mall area. My suggestion is maybe trying to see if we can get the security to allow us to take it in their main front parking lot, and might be able to get into the mall and take it from like the food court area which should be around the same height as the parking garage we took it in last year. Though I think the parking lot we took it in would be equal height to the "basement" floor of the mall so it might not be at the same height (maybe a ladder?). Anyways the main parking lot is large enough to accommodate about 200 camaros in some form of a formation.

Considering the turn out I think it would be a great idea.

Can we maybe do a really big c5 ? Two cars wide and the shape of the logo where the 5 is partly in the c.

This is a possibility, but we will need a much bigger lot and a might higher photo vantage point...
And yes Havok, the closer to the actual show, the better.

If anyone knows the owner of a 5 story or taller building with roof access and a large parking lot, now is the time to start making contact and call in some favors. That parking garage, while three levels, was definitely higher than 3 standard stories.
