Gt500 is gonna take it, depending on his tires he can run it form a roll too.

Keep in mind guys, a gt500 with a intake, pulley, and a tune picks up 100whp. So assuming it's just a catback intake and tune, that'd be at least 50whp. If it was stock, the cammed ls3 would have the advantage, but i'd say he's gonna walk you pretty good.

Yes, ran him before from about a 35 MPH roll. He was consistently about 1-2 car lenghts ahead of me till we shut it down..

Cam hopefully will be installed soon, hopin next week. Ill keep everyone posted. From my experience in the past with this GT 500 i think it will be close. I honestly think with the cam package and good tune from a roll I really think I will out run him. Well see......

Stock 2008 GT500 has 500bhp. With an extra 50hp from intake and tune lets say 550 or 560bhp. The camaro will be the same or more with a cam and supporting mods. That GT500 walk away I don't think so.

Does it have a pulley? If it's on stock pulley, it will be a close race. . . if it's not, well not as close.

GT500 catback, intake, and tune probably 450 rwhp and similar torque, you will have maybe a bit more hp but less torque, he is a little bit lighter than you, equal drivers probably a good race but i'd give it to the GT500

I agree. But just a tune intake and exhaust is not going to be a whole lot more. I still say drivers race.

Not BHP, WHP.

The difference is the power that is made at the wheels (essentially what matters). The 08 gt500 in this case has at least 50 more WHP (that's Wheel Horse Power, we can even use RWHP if you want to get technical [Rear Wheel Horse Power]).

I'm not saying that it's gonna get up and smoke the camaro, but I think it's a bit over matched especially on the top end

with those mods it would be 550-560 bhp not rwhp i have searched around and stock it has been ranging for 415-445 rwhp so i dont think itll get over 100rwhp with jus a intake exhaust and tune but i think itll be a really good race and hope to hear about the race soon

50whp is 60bhp hence the 550-560bhp since that year gt500 is 500bhp stock!!
