I would sure get some wheel locks. They are not 100 %,but they will stop someone without the proper tools that's in a hurry.

I purchased my Camaro just north of Chicago and the car came with locking lug nuts. The dealership said they had an issue with rims being stolen, so now all of their lot cars come with them.
Sorry to hear about this, but definitely get yourself some locking lug nuts in the future.

That really sucks!! Hopefully the police are more useful in Newark than they are here in Chicago.

My guess is probably because two robberies happened at the same time?

So sorry you are having to deal with this. Hopefully you can get it resolved quickly & to your satisfaction. Maybe invest in some Gorilla locking lug nuts as a bit of extra secuirty. It might buy you some time or they may choose to pick on an easier target.

"Security", guards, all that is a joke...It stops nothing...May keep an honest guy honest, but other than that, forget it...How much easier could it be than to know when the guard isn't around, or where he is so the thief could avoid him?...
May stop petty crimes of opportunity, but for a "determined" criminal, it's worthless...Same goes for wheel locks, alarms, etc... |

My insurance company had a place that would come out and just put facories back on in my driveway! But I finally just got the to write a check ($5600) for the new wheels and tires instead.
Make sure you get them to look at the body work underneath the car also, seperate claim but there is going to be damage from setting on blocks |
