Any 2010 should have been discounted in the spring to make way for the 2011's that started coming in the summer.

There are two local chevy dealers by me and both have 2010's on the lot. They both have deep discounts posted on them and they still can't sell them. I don't know if it's the economy or just that people want the 2011. The one has had a three 2SS/RS's for almost 9 months ,and they still have all three. I don't get it at all.

when the '10 models first hit my area they had a Summit White LS with a automatic and my dad was considering it but he just did not feel like buying something like that could only be driven half a year. he said if we were in Florida he would have bought it in a second!

I think a premium is a bit much but I think they can still ask sicker. It's not like the car changed much. Only if you got a 2SS or 2LT. I'm sure you can deal but I wouldn't expect anyone to throw them at you like the 2010 mustangs.

Any dealer with a 2010 still especially multiples isn't a place to get a deal.

Cars.com shows:

New 2011's: 9,121
New 2010's: 1,970

Unless you really want a HUD (2SS, 2LT), then the 2010 would be the better value, especially if you plan to keep it longer than 5 years.

For comparison...
Mustangs:
New 2011's: 9,248
New 2010's: 1,113

I pulled into a Beach dealership and the salesman comes out and says "where did you get those wheels, never seen them before".

holdin on

yes, i am waiting for the price drop. i hate the way dealers chose to milk the consumers. i have bought only camaros and have not went to discuss the car seriously with any dealer yet because i feel they will only try to make me look foolish. i am pissed also about the halo/foglight setup. the fog lights should have an on/off switch. i do not like the "pop up" sunroof either. BUT-I GOTS TO GET ONE ANYWAY. and probably soon--i am at 241,000. i love my 1994 Z28.
