This is a moot point now, many pre-ordered thinking they would be first in line so they could have a low VIN #. Well as we know ain't happening now. If you did preorder and are lucky to have a low vin but stuck in QC then you have what you want, a low VIN. The whole problem I see is peoples perception. I have read post after post where people do not want the dealership to even wash these cars or PDI them. For some strange reason people think that they can buy this car put it away for 25 years and sell it for a bunch of money, well maybe if you are Rick Hendrick and have VIN#1 or I forgot he paid $350,000.00 for his.

I want my car just like everyone else does, but remember it is a CAR. A very very very nice car I might add but still a car. It is not the 69 Camaro your Father, Grandfather or whomever had. While I really wish I could bring back 1969 this too will not happen. We will not know the real effect of this car for 25 years from now. Everyone remember the Prowler, hot car, high priced and now look at it. There has not been a car since the Trans Am's of Smokey and the Bandit that is worth anything. The Muscle Car of yester year is sadly gone unless you own a classic, which I am lucky to own.

So while I understand everyone's frustration with the whole ordering process, ME, included, lighten up a little. Thanks this is just my humble opinion.

This could be Canada only.....the GM card up here is $500.00 more than USA.

I don't believe we have a military discount or Credit union discount. Heard nothing about GMS up here. Given our retails are 27 % higher and the dollar is now at 10% we are still getting hosed.

Just picked up my 2010 Camaro today and I did qualify for the $1000 GM Loyalty Credit. The $1000 was applied against my purchase price and I was actually shown where it stated that 2010 Camaros do qualify for the credit.

I personally don't have anything. The salesperson showed me the list of cars and sure enough it was on the list. I can try to ask him to scan a copy and send it to me.

sorry for the 'cut and paste' on this, but it was the only way i could get it from our internal 'home office' letters to this forum.

i hope this helps.

to date, we've got 8 orders for camaros, 5 V8's and 3 V6's; all but 2 of the V6's are presold.

it was a very happy day yesterday when we saw our first two camaros come rolling in on the back of a transport!

oops...disregard the above 'yes'; it was supposed to be quoted on this post.

so YES, you can use uptp $1,500 of GM Visa points on the Camaro AND recieve $1,000 Loyalty if you currently own a GM vehicle.
