Camaro ok for taller people?

So this is my first post here and I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I took a quick look at the search and couldn't find what I'm looking for. Heres the deal; I was thumbing through my latest motor trend and getting really geared up about the camaro. I actually have been for a while now, I was though dissapointed to hear the reviewer say that anyone over 5,8" would have a serious problem driving this car. Any of you current owners tall guys? I'm 6,1" and was seriously considering trading in my pickup on a Camaro, although I'm not sure now. It seems a little stupid of GM to make a car that excludes the majority of the male population?

theres a few threads on here about that.
so you can search and read through those, some people get irritated when people dont search first, but dont worry about it.

im pretty sure one of the threads is a 6'4" guy who says he fits.

welcome to the site!

You should be good. Had another guy on here claimed he was 6'7 and fit pretty good. Without sunroof of course.

Hmm, I know the seat will lower and that I thought most everyone at this height was not having problems with the height. I know the sunroof was questionable but I didn't think those without it would have any problems at all.

Check out the Conan O'Brien video. He's your size and you can see him get in and out with no problems. Just search you tube for it.

Damn thanks for the replies guys, I'm happy to hear that the taller guys are doing OK. I wonder what the editors of Motor trend were thinking printing that, it seemed a incorrect to me. I'd love to just go sit in one but of course my local dealers don't have any so hopefully soon, thanks again guys.

I also looked around youtube for that Conan video and could not find it..

I'm 6'1 and I actually put the seat UP in the one I sat in. It didn't have a sunroof, but I want to try one with a sunroof as soon as possible. I think even that will be ok.
