Widen rims on the rear with pics

Here are some pics. Had the rims widen the Permachromed. They are 10.75" with 305/35 Nittos 555Rs. I moved the rears to the front also.

If anyone is interested I have a set of 1 1/4 inch hub centric of 67mm spacers that have not been used. I ordered them used them for fitments only. I ended up with the 1"

I will take $120.00 shipped for them.

Looks good my car looks the same except I got midnite rims. Been toying the idea of the widening. How much did you pay and how long did they take?

You needed the spacer to make fit or just to pump the wheel out further?

Yes...He did the Chrome work...I used www.Weldcraftwheels.com for the Widen. He is close enough that Marcus at UsWheelexhcange will pick them up after they are done and chrome them.

285 a wheel on the widen. 825 for all four chromed plus shipping. I had my factory set already done Uswheel so I purchase a set of take offs to get the fronts. I sent the fronts to Weldcraft for the widen.

I am running the original rears on the front. It has some meat on it now

I also sent my wheels to Weldcraft =), hopefully they will come back looking as good as yours!
Btw where did you get your 1" spacers from, I can't seem to find any and it's driving me insane.

http://www.wheeladapter.com/

Measure you Hub on the Axle. I got 66.80mm so I got Fred to make them 66.90. They are very snug. We used 66.77 on wheel side. He made the first set to big (68mm+) the first time because that is what someone at GM told him I had to send them back. He made them right the second time. I had to convince him I had the measurement right to get them right. I feel like they are suppose to base on 67mm. that is what the GTO and G8 are.

arent spacers dangerous? i was under the impression that if you put a set on, it would reduce the amount of threads on the studs that the lugs had to grab ahold of when tightening down?

I used the Hub centric spacers that have studs in them. You get the same mounting as if you did not have any spacers. The spacers bolt to the axle just like the rim with all of the pressure transmitted thur the hub center. The wheel mounts to the spacer on another set of studs using the hub centric to center the wheel and also take the pressure.

It took about 2 weeks to get the rims widen.

I will try to post some better pics if the weather ever permits.
