Well if it were me, id take it one thing at a time. I'd try the x pipe and see how u like it then. If u want just a little louder, you could delete the mufflers and straight pipe or put some glass packs. If u want something more, then u could start looking into deleting the resonators.

yeah i thought taking out the cats would make me happy but terribly wrong. but yeah i want a nice deep tone. so ima go with wut u suggested. add resonated x or the magna flow resonated plus the magnaflow mufflers.. might as well get that all together so i dont pay later to weld and cut allover again . i would be happy though if i can just get an axle back .but im not sure if itll stop the raspy sound

The actual cats are the only thing in my exhaust that's still stock because I didn't want to have to deal with them yet. I removed the back cats (the ones AFTER the o2 sensor) and everything is 2.5" all the way through the exhaust and I think it sounds great, but not that loud. Since that's what I was going for, I was happy with it. I'd be interested in hearing how yours sounds after you're done!

Removing cats will definitely make the car louder and raspier, the easiest thing to do to get rid of it is to put helmholtz chambers on.

I pulled the nuts off mine the 1st week I got it home and put anti seize on them. I knew at some point they would be coming off to change something.

Just wanted to verify before I do this mod. If I remove both front and rear cats, I will get a CEL and need tune to fix it? If I remove just the rear cats, I will not get a CEL? If I replace the front cats with 200 cell (or lower) cats, will I get a CEL?
