Trans shot at 2099 miles???

Myself, wife and kids were coming home from a cruise night last night. I took off from a light, shifted 1-2 and got on it in second, shifted 2-3 and it grinded and wouldn't go into gear. Let it roll in neutral for a few seconds pushed the clutch in and the shifter was stuck in neutral. It would not go into ANY gear. Onstar sent a flat bed and now it's at the dealer. I'm a bit dissapointed that a car with 2099 miles had this happen. My only mods are a roto fab cai and an axle back so I'm hoping this will be taken care of quickly and correctly.

My 2010 had a transmission replacement with 3,137 miles. Your mods would have zero effect on the transmission problem you describe.

How long did it take them and how is it now? I'm assuming a gm rep is going to get involved which will add to the time the car is gonna be at the dealer.

This same thing happened to me last week. 1-2-wouldn't go into 3. So I did the same thing and threw it into neutral and coasted. I tried again and was able to put it into 4th and continue along. No problems since. I also have Skip Shift eliminator installed.

Left the dealer went about 1/2 mile and took it back. It shifts fine throughout the gears but the shifter itself now has a ton of play in it. Neutral has more play then before and when it's in gear it feels like it's in neutral. All of the SS camaros on the lot are automatics so I have nothing to compare it to. They got the service manager involved and they're gonna keep it until it's right. This sucks......
