Back in my day, the last thing you wanted to do at the drive in was watch the movie. Now that fold down rear seat with leg room in the trunk would have been a clear winner.

People need to understand that yes the LS3 peaks higher than an L99, but the L99 produces more low to mid-range torque and hp than the LS3.

In stock trim, the SS is a very quiet car....put any exhaust system on your SS and it will FEEL more powerful, since it now SOUNDS more powerful.

If GM had put a more throaty exhaust on this car, I bet nobody would think it feels slow. I have owned every generation Camaro except the 4th, and this new SS is easliy the most powerful AND refined Camaro I've owned or driven.

No power complaints here.

I don't have a V8 but from what I understand if you turn off traction control and stabillitrek you will likely spin out.

That's normal for any performance car.

No,
I turn them off all the time.
There are a few turns from a stop where I can get the tires to spin with just flooring the throttle after the clutch is engaged.
But, in most all cases, you need to rev a little and dump the clutch to get the tires spinning.

The car will wake up within the next 1000 miles. One thing to remember is that your car has torque management to save your driveline parts. I've noticed that the car sometimes pulls harder if you launch at half throttle and roll into it.

Also, at 12k miles now, I find my traction control light coming on frequently and the back end feeling squirrly alot.

426 would feel awesome in a lighter car, but in the camaro it isn't very exciting. I would have to say 550 RWHP starts to get fun.

This is why when you buy a V8 muscle car of any sort you get a Manual. Dont expect to spin tires with an automatic with traction control. You dont see them driving automatics at the indy 500 do you? they're just inferior when it comes to control and acceleration.
