Show Me Stock SS Wheels Powder Coated
:bangdesk:
I have spent hours looking thru pics on here and can't find the exact look I am going for. I have a 2011 IOM, 2SS. Getting calipers powder coated orange to match car, but want to get wheels powder coated at same time. Hey, I'll admit it... I am scared to death of going with straight black wheels! I don't want to look like I just came from the race track. Don't get me wrong, I like black wheels, just not sure if I would like them on MY car. My overall plan is simple, going with rear center blackout panel, front bumper blackout (piece under the headlight area) and center piece on lower part under grille. Maybe the hood spears down the road, not possitive on it tho. So looking for IOM cars with powder coated stock wheels. Black, Satin Black, Gloss Black, maybe a gunmetal powder coat, etc...? P.S. this is a girl's car

Maybe this will help on my IOM 2SS..... they are Powdercoated a Medium Gloss Black (i've seen a lot of flat black and black chrome, i feel mine are quite different.) and the Centercaps are just sprayed black with GM IOM touchup paint in the bowties...

Medium Gloss Black, kind of looks black from a distance but more dark charcoal up close? I kind of like that.
I got one shot at getting this right, don't want to make a mistake and regret it. Also, I would rather pay $320 for powder coat what I already have vs $2000. Can use the extra money towards other goodies
