Any news on uplifted cars from SLP or others straight from factory? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

i miss my 02 ws-6, so iam looking to get into a new camaro but iam hoping there will be a next level after the ss whatever it might be called (hopefully z28) any news yet? slp had a good relationship with GM for the 4th gen so maybe we can expect something.

Check out the new SLP Firehawk based on the G8. Expect something very similar for the Camaro. It won't be called Z28 though...

I'm sure we'll see something from SLP and I also agree it won't be Z28. Who knows though? Maybe the industry is in for a permanent change to where it won't be practical for GM to make Z28. It looks like Ford is coming with another GT500 in the next generation Mustang so I hope we'll see a equivalent response from GM. We know they have the tools and the know-how, but I could not say I know where this could go. I have my wishes but we'll just have to wait and see...
