MGW delivery time
I ordered an MGW shifter last Friday (06 Apr 12). A question for anyone else who has ordered from them, how long might I expect it to take before finding that package on my porch?

Update.
It looks like a week from order to ship. Seems reasonable to me. I am looking forward to more accurate "gates" when shifting.

I think mine took about 3 weeks to get in. It all depends on their parts suppliers because they don't build a ton of them just to keep on hand. Trust me, it's worth the wait.

Thanks for the replies. Mine came on April 17th, and is going in today. I'm hoping for a more "defined" gate feel so those 6th to third downshifts for highway passing will be more confidence inspiring.
I will report back my observations if there is any interest.

Just a heads up it is going to be stiff for the first few hundred miles. But mine is butter now.

It's in.
Thanks for the heads-up on the stiffness. It is. As far as the feel otherwise, it should have been like this from the factory! Time to go play....

Did you happens to have a factory Hurst shifter before? I'm considering changing but not sure there is that much of a difference. Can anyone elaborate? Thx

No, I had the regular shifter. The throws feel MUCH shorter, and the central return spring is much stronger feeling (due to the MGW having extra springs).

I replaced my factory Hurst with an MGW and it was night and day different. The factory Hurst shifter....actually kind of sucks...but you don't know it until you get a nice shifter like the MGW in place.
