j/k this is good news means this market is possibly maturing and the cost are coming down or is GM trying to prop up sales to keep from killing it off?
If I go drifting in my Volt, would it be called the electric slide?

So , did they install crank windows, manual locks, delete the radio, and throw small hubcaps on this thing to get to that "screamer" price?

Good reason not to be an early adopter of technology.
Wait a few years and the price of big screen TVs drop.
Early buyers of Volts probably feel cheated..not to mention the trade in value tanking.

Cadillac ELR for 60K? I'd rather spend a bit more and get a Tesla Model S IMO

I would consider it.

But then I would want to put 20 inch wheels, a CAI and exhaust on it soon after.

Good to see the price decrease. A year and half ago we were looking at one but couldn't rationalize the extra cost when comparing to the Cruze Eco

This is a much better price point. I wonder what the GMS price would be.

So how much will they lose per Volt now at this price? I thought they were already losing money.

I'm tempted as a daily driver at this price. My commute is well under 40 miles.
