i have been sitting at 3400 for a week and 3300 for 3 weeks before that and still no car, why isnt it being made!

iom 2ss/rs orange interior, sunroof, manual, cgm stripes.

i see there is only 4 orange and 1 blue made, is there some kind of problem with the paint or whats going on. i ordered my car on the first day you could order and guys who ordered a few months later already have a vin!!!
wtf!!!!

Well Kev....it's all theory from here..but we have been told that "the plant can paint any color at any time"...this probably is true..but I don't think thats how they are doing it..I think a couple weeks down the road we will see the next "batch" being IOM IBM ABM and CGM if it comes off constraint...just my humble Opinion...I know they are supposedly doing all right now but I don't think so..too fishy to me. I know black was the most ordered color so maybe they are doing them according to popularity..anyones guess..noone seems to wanna comment on this besides us

..I sure hope I'm wrong though.

thats what im thinking too, but why not tell us about it!! i knoe orange is a pretty popular color too!

Not that I'm doubting your numbers, but when I was down at the GM plant last week, I must have counted at least 20 orange Camaros, hundreds of yellow ones, but I don't remember seeing many blue ones

2/4 IOMs were ordered by people on this board.

Those 4 IOMs that were made were done in the first 233 cars built. None have been made since. And it might be the second most popular color.

anyone else have any ideas? i would think they could paint as many colors as they want at once especially if they already did some blue and orange already

Today at work I saw about 15 or so IOM's
and about 6-7 Aqua Blue ones...

Trust me people.. they are producing every color right now..
That vin tracking system isnt entirely correct.

Well....hopefully I'll be eating my hat soon (ref above quote from Dylans other posting today). If Dylan says they are being made I'd consider that information straight from the horse's mouth. Yup...we're all wishing we knew more, but posts like his certainly make the waiting a little bit easier.

now there are reports that there was a cgm car made today, and yesterday only shows a couple more iom's come on!

Have some patience. Sure some members have had their cars built already but GM never promised us that our cars would be built 3 weeks after the start of production did they?

kinda did when they accepted my car in the first 2000, i would think that it should have a vin in the top 2000.

Kinda did? No they didn't. The plant decides what get's built when and it doesn't mean first in, first out.
