But do you know which GMPP exhaust you have? As I think there are two versions.
Is it 92206992

I have the 92206992 which are oval in shape w/ARH 17/8 w hf cats and it sounds very simular, also a little drone cruising in 6th at 70-80mph. His in the video look round 92231570, but hard to tell inthe video. If you want to see the bow tie on the tips cut the mid pipe about 1/2- 3/4 " closer to the stock mufflers than the instructions say. Sorry no sound clip and is now stored for the winter.

Thanks brother. I'm leaning towards the 92206992 as i want to have the least rasp possible while at the same time not drive the neighbors nuts

Oh if you're referring to the mufflers, they're round as well.

Hey all.... forum newbie and newbie Camaro owner here....

2012 SS2-RS Convertible, LS3 with a 6 speed M/T...

What are the convertible guys doing for exhaust? Tried using the search function on this thread with no luck (or I'm just bad at searching).

I'm looking into the SLP Header Package - 1-3/4" Long Tube Header with High-Flow Cats and the PowerFlo Acle Back Exhaust.

From what I've seen it doesn't seem as tho the convertibles can have the full exhaust with X pipe, I'm guessing that is due to the extra bracing for the convertible. That being said, it just got shipped up to MN and got put away for the winter before I could get it up in the air and really look over it.

My long term plan is exhaust this Spring when I get it out of storage, they probably save up for a couple of years and drop the SLP Supercharger on it and possibly do a Cam upgrade right away as well.

Any suggestions folks?

Thanks!

TSP Headers & dynomax exhaust

I don't think I've posted this clip but here's my old car doing a few acceleration runs & a cold start. It had TSP 1-7/8" headers with cat-less mid pipes, stock 2.5 inch piping, magnaflow tru-x x-pipe & dynomax 12" race series bullet mufflers. I miss how this car sounded

Didn't read the whole thread, but I didn't see it posted on the first page - everyone should check out Stainless Works Retro Chambered catbacks. I know everyone is biased towards what they have - but ive never found a cleaner and less raspy exhaust that has as much UMPH as mine. Will try to post video when I get home, but definitely worth checking out if youre trying to stay away from the classic fart pipe sound
