Merry Christmas Pete & family & the Pedders Crew!!!
Thank you for all you've done for this forum, GM & me personally. I've learned more in the past year by reading your Book, your posts and our conversations, than I have in 20 years of tooling around!

You're a true ASSET to the forum!

Thanks again for lunch today, Pete! Look forward to seeing you soon!

I'm looking at my Pedders plates right next to me and agree 100%...Maybe one day when you come to SoCal, we'll do lunch too Pete

Hey guys and gals, well some of you know that I'm big into my BBQ hobby. If you were lucky enough to have some of it at the last Camaro5 Fest you understand that I'll do almost anything to BBQ something.

So, now that my hobby is starting to become more serious, I'm taking it to the next level. I've done a lot of research and I even went to the fabrication shop that specializes in BBQ pits.

I have placed a work order to have a Pitmaker BBQ Safe smoker built. This is not going to be a normal smoker. I have a surprise up my sleeve and I know a lot of you are going to be in awe when you see me posting pictures of it.

Right now I have the design team at Pitmaker doing some drawings for me so I can get the exact details on paper from my head.

I'll let you guys in on hint. It's going to be Camaro inspired and IOM. Pitmaker has said that it should be done the 3rd week of Feburary, Just in time for the event at the Austin race track!

So stay tuned, I can't wait to show you guys what I have getting made.

Believe me, being from Houston I've seen them quite a few times at shows around here but just couldn't pull out 2 or 3 grand to buy one. They are the best of the best.

Hey Pete, My 2011 2SS is a daily driver (snow too) and on factory wheels/tires. I don't plan on tracking the car, but if I wanted to improve the handling I presume the foundational Street I would do the trick based on my read of your info.

Don't want a harsh ride so I think I need to stay away from lowering springs. Anything else you'd recommend?

Thanks

Yes sir! I'll be able to do 8 briskets at one time.

Ok how about the rest of the numbers...I'll run them down now..

This will be for one type of meat on each smoke.

Ok Here goes,

8 briskets
9 racks of ribs
12 pork roasts (boston butt or picnic)
32 chicken halves
100 chicken thighs
100 chicken legs
4 turkeys, (split in half)
24 turkey legs
30 turkey thighs

And this is just the smallest smoker they have...If I get the large one I could triple those numbers.

Pete,

I think we need to do an event together some time...what do you think up for some goooooood BBQ?

Spot on as always #3.

1. It was made official today. We are a single source, no bid Tier 1 supplier to one of the Big 3. Agreements like this are rare. Very rare.

2. Pedders parts are now available through Summit

3. Armored vehicle prototype B7 class

4. The Public Safety Sector is warming up to Pedders

5. We are getting the details together for the V8 Supercars May 17, 18 & 19 at COA. http://www.facebook.com/events/474040772652528/

6. The CamaroCross will be absolutely awesome at C5FEST IV.

7. Camaro Camber Plates are due in soon

8. We are hard at work with a 2nd OEM.

In our spare time we are going to care for Belgian Malinois out of Lackland's Military Working Dog Program. Many of you know how incredibly valuable the MWDs are and how many lives they save. After 911 I tried to enlist. They thought I was too old and too stubborn to fit in. My thought was they should run me through basic and let me train those assigned to recruiting offices. Now you know why I treat those in the military as special. I feel as though I haven't done my fair share. Caring for a puppy and preparing them for the dog version of basic is a small way of pulling my weight. We pick up the newest Basica Friday and I expect PPirro to be the baddest axx MWD to ever graduate from Lackland.

My daughters are thrilled to be part of this program. It won't be easy as they will love this little guy to pieces and have to give him back the the Air Force.

I am sorry I have been off line for the last six weeks. All this corporate stuff takes an enormous amount of time so other things suffer. Don't feel too bad. My wife and kids haven't seen much of me lately. I will try to treat both my families better.

This is my new normal

Pedders latest Special Build comes from the Special Build Group at GM.

DreamWorks 3D comedy called Turbo

This Special Builds Group will be used to promote the new DreamWorks 3D film 'TURBO'. http://www.turbomovie.com/

"...it's interesting to finally see this car realized in real life. I designed the original concept for this vehicle.... is that it's designed for a "Family Animated Movie." People don't seem to realize this is not something that will be put into production, it's a design for kids to fall in love with Drag Racing and Motorsports! It's designed to be the aftermarket Chevy Camaro on Steroids. It's supposed to be fun, exciting, and light-hearted. "

Jason Scheier
DreamWorks

FYI: This Special Build Camaro rides on GMPP Pedders Xa Coilovers.
