I have a CAI Inc cold air intake, will probably take the plexi out so the air flows in, also have the adm race scoop as well already installed. I think I will probably get more benefit from the heat extractors than the ram air actually

Cool. The extractors should aid cooling and downforce. I've seen some hoods with working intakes that feed over to the intake area or can use a custom intake for fresh air. Which would work better than the stock pickup location. I couldn't find that hood on their website so I wasn't sure what it offered. Still nice looking either way.

The intake does direct air right behind the driver's side headlight, so those with an open short ram air intake would benefit from it a lot. My intake is behind the driver's side T3 port.

There is no reason I can't take the lid off the CAI as far as I know, should work just fine right? The functional ram air is really just an added benefit, the looks are what sold me on the hood.

Btw, with all the horror stories about this hood my body shop guy said he was impressed with the quality, the passenger corner in the front did have the lift but he said all they had to do was adjust the stoppers and shim the fenders and they got it to lay flat. Hope to have more pics next week.

Yep, I have yet to see a camaro on here with this hood and ZL1 bumper too, hoping it turns out great, hood fits not perfect but darn close too.

Just a couple more, they should spray it tomorrow morning, wasn't going to go out there until Wednesday but I may go tomorrow afternoon.

Finally painted!!! Wet-sanding tomorrow or Friday should have it by the weekend, turned out great! Couldn't get a good pic of the bumper because of the lay out of the room.
