Hi Blue-J. I think we did get up around 35 today. But I haven't driven Lightning for a while now. Every time it snows they dump tons of salt on the roads. I don't want that crap up underneath my car or on the paint. But I see folks driving their Camaros on the salty roads all the time. Their cars tend to look like junk after a few winters.

Stop showing off! Dang it is cold ! It is hovering right at the zero degrees markup here on this ridge. I sure do dread getting out in it. I am going to rebel & refuse to park in the 2-buildings-away parking lot. I am not walking that far in these frigid temps. I promise with schools closed again most clients are not going to bother to get out in this weather so I am confident we won't have a parking problem today.

went out this morning ,got to nearest town and road closed signs up .emailed office still snowed in oh well what can you do!!!

I called in today it's been snowing hard here for more than 14 hours. Roads are terrible and visibility is near zero in the snow bands. I am right in the heart of the snow band and will be most of the day there are driving bans in many towns and many roads are closed and there is a state of emergency declared here. It's hard to tell how much snow has fallen because the winds are just blowing it everywhere I am guessing more than a foot so far. Most things are closed and the State is sending additional plows and crews to clear the roads. With the lack of cars and extra plows life should get back to normal by tomorrow. Supposed to be in the 40's by the end of the week so the great melt will begin. Have a good day everyone.

The snow band moved north giving me a chance to clean the driveway. Its supposed to shfft back over my area this afternoon and evening then weaken and end overnight. Here are a couple of pics of me getting ready to go out, clearing the driveway, then what I looked like when I finished.

Glad you had some equipment to do it and the ability to do it! Just cold here, but we'll survive. At least we don't have any frozen precip.

How about that game last night. Nail biter for sure. The BCS games were really exciting this year. I think this year's Sugar Bowl was the first bowl game I've ever been to................worth every penny to see OU beat Alabama.

Hope no one has to drive their Camaro in nasty weather...........mine's safely in the garage.

Well I made it in to work without problems. Roads in some places were still icy but very passable with a bit of common sense (which is not so common anymore). I really feel badly for you guys up north. Some clients are actually showing up which is good. I did park in the back & no one has said anything to me thus far.

Is it spring yet???????????????
