I hope I can go. Would be good birthday present for me if its in October!

Hello, I am definitely interested in joining this group! Picked up by CGM 2LT/RS at the end of May and have been looking for other Camaro drivers in the area that get together to hang out. Besides the forum, and PM to Tysen, what do I need to do?

Thanks!

Here is info on the meet at The corvette Museum Camaro Exibit:

Check out this out if you did not see it on the main page. This event sounds fun.
http://www.corvettemuseum.com/regist...ody/info.shtml

The Music City Camaro Club & Central Ky Camaro club will be at the Corvette Museum on Oct 23rd it cost 50.00 per person but it includes a lot If you’re planning on attending let me know. Anyone who would be interested in having dinner at Ruby Tuesday on the 23rd in Bowling Green send me a message ASAP. I will need to get an estimate of the number of folks interested, to my daughter so she can see what kind of deal we can get. They will also rope us off parking spaces & will need an approximate number for that. I will let you know details of the discount/deal they offer us as soon as I know. We think we will likely get a 10% discount at Ruby Tuesday at least. But I really need folks to let me know if interested so we can get an estimate on numbers. We will meet at Ruby Tuesday at 5:30.
There will be groups & individuals from all over bringing their Camaros to this event. I think it will be really fun. Look foward to meeting everyone.

According to the Corvette Museum site, the event has been cancelled. Now that it is cancelled, we need a new plan. Since both our group & Central Ky Camaro club planned this for our monthly meetings, maybe the 2 clubs could still get together up there. with both groups we could still have a good gathering. Camaros are still on display at the museum. We could go on the same day originally planned or move to the 30th so we have more time to plan. It sounds like they already have something else planned for Beach Bend for that day (23rd) but someone is checking on that. We could do lunch at Ruby Tuesday instead of supper. We can tour the museum, maybe plan our own poker run, spend some time just visiting & checking out each other's Camaros & maybe run our cars if available at Beech Bend. Everyone interested in doing a meet at the Corvette Museum either on Oct 23 or 30, please respond here or PM me ASAP adding any ideas you may have. Or...does anyone have a better idea for our Oct meet?

Black Beauty & I have come up with a plan & it looks like several folks from both Music City Camaro & Central Ky Camaro will be attending here is the info:
We will still have a group of us going to the Museum on Oct. 23rd to see the Camaro exhibit. I have worked out a deal with the museum to give us the Corvette club membership price to tour the museum at $6.00 per person. They are letting us park around the big circle out front that’s usually reserved for Corvettes only. We'll start arriving around 10:00 & can stay as long as we like. Once everyone arrives, we can tour the museum & then hang out a while, chatting & checking out each other's cars. Folks can get a snack/appetizer if they want at the Corvette Cafe. We will convoy over to Ruby Tuesday for a late lunch/early supper (2:00? what do folks think on time to eat). They will reserve seating & prime parking (roped off section for us). We will likely get a 10% discount if we have a decent number attend. We do need to get an estimate on the number of parking spaces needed at both the Corvette Museum & at Ruby Tuesday, plus a head count for Ruby Tuesday to set us up tables. So everyone who is planning to attend needs to chime in here ASAP. Let's really try to have a good turnout from both clubs for once.
We do need to know numbers of people & cars attending so please resopnd on hte club site or PM me ASAP if you will be attending.
