tap shift question

If i am using the tap shift do I have to release the gas whenever I shift like when shifting with a stick or can I just tap shift with the gas pedal depressed?

You can shift and press the gas at the same time. Its an automated shift that you are holding onto until you "tap" to shift up to the next gear. I do it all the time.

You can keep the pedal down and tap, but it's more fun to release the gas very quickly...

Tune it.

Stock, it seems slow when you're just cruising. But, at WOT (stock) it's quick.
