Thumbs up Long tube headers for 2010 V-8 Camaro's

I'll be sending my 2010 2SS LS3 6 speed camaro over to clear image automotive in Kent Washington for some R&D work. He is planning to make I believe at least 2 type of headers for the V-8 cars. They will be dyno tested to make peak horse power. He has made headers for my supercharged LS1 2002 35th camaro with great results. Here is his web site: www.clearimageautomotive.com Check it out.

Dan is also making his own design of a cold air intake system. Also, considering making a front tower strut bar.

Hi-flow converters with stock manifolds made a solid 20 HP to the wheels. Yesterdays dyno numbers had not been corrected yet. I'll have those later.

Best run today was 388.11 HP (corrected) and 392.43 torque (corrected) to the wheels. This was today's numbers.

Baseline dyno run today was 358.04 HP and 356.74 torque to the wheels taken on 6th of October.

Final numbers 409 HP 413 torque to the wheels with tuning. Pics are on clearimageautomotive.com soon. These numbers were with long tube headers, 3" high flow cats, 3" dual exhaust with a H pipe to 3" magna flow resinators then 3" high flow magna flow mufflers with stock tips. It now has a great deep sound thru the whole power band.

I have Dans headers and cat delete pipes on my 96 Impala SS and have gotten 27 mpg on the highway at average speeds of 70 mph. Driven to California several times, can't remember my horsepower gains.

Dan at clear image is looking for another local v-8 camaro that wants to upgrade there exhaust system. He is offering this as the last discount exhaust system before he goes into full production pricing. Please go to his web site at clearimageautomotive.com to get his info. Thanks

I just got back from SEMA yesterday and picked up my car from Dan at Clear Image Automotive. I got the full setup headers all the way to the tips. This guy is amazing, not only is the performance gains huge and the sound 10 times better than stock. The quality of the installation is better than factory and better than anything I have ever seen before.
I can't wait to have another meet so I can show it to everyone.
