I think they will all give a fairly similar change in exhaust note. The parts that will have the biggest effect will be aft of the headers.

it's after the headers that dictate the note. headers are simply for breathing!

headers will change sound some yes!!!!! but if your doin headers id honestly do an exhaust and not waste money on diverters. i mean they are a great idea for someone whos stayin stock but otherwise id stay clear.

Trust me Kooks Long Tubes with catted X-pipe when they release and Corsa exhaust when it releases also, best sound on the planet.

hmmm keep stock headers, and get the noweeds. just replace the mufflers with whatever sound you want. Then when you want performance open the diverter.. better performance than any x pipe setup, and ALOT cheaper.
IMO..

I'd look at either ARH, Kooks, SW, and not necessarily in that order. There have already been good gains to be found on two of these systems and one is still in the works.

It looks like the biggest restriction in Camaro's exhaust are the manifolds and cats'. By splipping in cutouts aft' of these probably won't give you the biggest gains, but will be the least expensive. If you're like me, and can't go LTs because of emissions, that may be your only choice, but I don't know that you'd really be getting that big of a return with this set-up; especially if the manifolds/cats' are the problems. I'd definately keep an open mind and see what results others obtain with this sort of set-up, but in terms of sound and power, LTs are the way to go.

JMHO.

Go with ARH... you will NOT regret it. I have installed 1000's of headers of all diff brands and ARH are BY FAR the best and easiest to install.
