Cam question

Im tring to figure out a cam that can give me the best power, and sound at idle, without the need of changing my stock converter. Im currently running headers no cats with 2.55 upper pulley , intake, and 100 shot. Any good suggestions?

I'll second that. BTR stg III will make big power and still idle smoother than other cams due to the 0 deg overlap.

Is that your CTS-V?

Nickey Chicago Stage II cam. I personally love the idle and drivability is excellent. Even though I have a M6 he puts the same cam in both auto and manuals with no issue. Give Stefano a call at 630-377-1222 for more info. He's probably installed over 50 in Zl1's by now... Here's a quick clip. Wasn't fully warmed up so idle was just a touch high.

That cam sounds awesome!
I think I'm going to look into that cam profile, do you have the specs? Love it.
I'll be adding boost soon enough as well.

BTR STG III in my junk.

Idles a bit like yours...not much lope. Don't care though as it makes good power.

Hello, Yes I do but Nickey doesn't wish to publish them. He'll tell you all about it, but really takes pride in it, etc. Out of respect I wont post. Just give him a call at 630-377-1222 or email him at nickeychicago@aol.com he'll usually respond pretty quick. I'm very happy with it and the power gains were substantial, but drivability is excellent and to me that was more important.

I totally understand.

Thanks for the info, I will contact him soon when I decide what power level I want for a forced induction LS3.
The right cam makes a Big difference. I'm just getting some idea's who has the best cam for my needs.
Thanks again.
