2014 Front turn signal burning out
Anyone else having any issues with front turn signals burning out excessively?
In the span of 1 year, my passenger side front turn signal has burnt out twice. Drivers side not at all. Just wondering if anyone else has the same problem, thanks. |

I like to put some dielectric grease on the metal part of the bulb. The oils from your finger tips will cause them to burn out quickly.
good luck Dimitri |

What brand of lamps are you using? Try using a different brand such as Sylvania/Osram or Phillips.
If changing lamp brands does not work you can perform voltage and resistance checks if you're proficient in that arena. In one observed case, I created a suppressor diode circuit (alternatively known as a flyback diode) that plugged inline to the light which helped in isolating the root cause. I am not suggesting that you need to create one as well, just trying to add a little context to what might be going on. Hope this helps. JV |
