Installing a transmission cooler is the "Best Mod For The Money". I have made a few mods to my Camaro, but this one takes the cake!!! My trans temps were approaching the 250* mark (especially at the track), so I called up Andy at ADM Performance and he told me that he had just finished designing a cooler for the L99 cars. For $300, my trans temps now never go over 180*. That's nearly a 70* drop my friends - and that's even in 95* plus ambient temperature down here in the Dallas area. If your trans temps are getting a too high, I HIGHLY recommend giving ADM Performance a call, you'll be glad you did.

I've never seen my trans temp above 180 and that includes hot lapping at the track in 85 degree weather. But nevertheless, andys stuff is awesome and you can't go wrong with the extra protection.

Very true, brother... I lucked out - Andy's shop is only 4 miles from my house. I've often wondered what the average temps were everyone else were seeing?

I've been seeing temps close to 200 lately but it has been hot. Started to get a bit nervous and thought about making the trek to ADM to have on installed since I have the new TC and want to keep the tranny cool and together. Think I am okay now.

When I rent the camaro I notice the temps hit near 250. I was concerned about that but thought maybe its normal for this car. Now that I know that its not quite the norm. I will get this upgrade when I BUY mine.

190 is all I've seen but the ADM kit is a nice piece and for a vertered car a good mod.
