Door Lock ?

Could not find it in the manual. Is there a way to program where the doors do not lock when put in gear? TIA

I think maybe it is in the setup menu on your stereo.

Why does the locking bother you so much?

Are you one of those 'fraidy-cats that thinks that they will get stuck in an accident with power locks and no 'lectricity to get out?

The 2010 Camaro advanced door freedom interlock system simply requires one pull of the handle to unlock the door and a second pull to open the door.

Try it. Lock yourself in the car and puu the handle 2 times.... FREEDOM!

I know how the system works is not about getting out, it has more to do with having to put the thing in park to pick up my wife or anyone else I want to pick up. My car my choice. If I lived in New York I might want my doors locked. LOL

You can always just push the button on the dash to unlock it?

You have a couple choices...

1) Press the unlock button.
2) Put the car in park (probably a good idea for safety when passengers board or exit)

How you gonna work the ejection seats with the door locked? At least until they make a T-TOP.

It's in the config part of your Infotainment (radio) center. There are several options. i changed mine to one click opens both doors.

these locks are tricky to figure out.
If I lock with the remote the person staying in the car can't get out, or is it two pulls on the door lock.

I'm with you, I find the auto locks a pain. On my 300 the computer lets me shut them off. Hello Chevy...a future option please.
