Exclamation Dealer add ons

I was wondering if anyone can hurry and help me with this situation. I am the FIRST at my dealer that is having the ground effects painted. The dealer is just going to add this on. I am wondering if anyone can give an estimated price of how much the ground effects would cost to paint. No i havent asked my dealer how much it costs and the dealer has an appointment with the body shop tom.

Oh yes and i forgot to add, yes my car arrived at the dealer today! I am freaking out

I get parts painted at the dealers body shop fairly often and I would guess that $250 to $400 would be reasonable. Regular body shops may be cheaper but your dealer shops tend to have a higher hourly fee and markups.

I've been considering getting the ground effects too and the dealer charges $504 with the paint costing about $250 and i asked why it was another 250 to install them and they said it took a little over 6 hours and the cos is $42 and hour. i still think that is kinda rediculous that it takes that long.

Aren't you already paying for the install when you opt for the GFX package?

they shouldnt charge you to put them on. you ordered the ground effects and it is up to the dealer to have your options put on before you take delivery

Ground effects should be around $300 to 600 depending on where you go. Dealer here is at $485 or so.

And your dealer shouldn't be charging you to put them on....thats

as already said, if you ordered GFX for your car, the price of the GFX inclused INSTALLATION, no matter how long it takes them to install it. If you having them paint it, it should only cost the Paint and Labor to Paint them extra, installation still should be the same, even for painted GFX

so the price of the gound effects being $1950 that includes the price of the install and so i would only have to pay that extra 250-300 dollars to get them painted.
