Help - Instrument Panel Fuse Box taps

I am interested in installing a 3-way control switch (always on/off/on when key at accy position) under the dash on the driver's side, tapping into the Instrument Panel Fuse Block. This switch would be to control LED lighting - likely max of 3-5 amps - but likely, around 2 amps.

I am wanting to check my logic and confirm choice of which fuses to tap.

I currently have pulled the RAP relay (K10) and replaced with jumper, so the center console cigarette lighter is always powered.

My plan was to tap either F17 or F18, for the always on side of the switch and to tap F4 (cluster) for the only on with key side of the switch.

Wanting to confirm that the fuses selected will work as desired.

Can anyone confirm or have better recommendations?

Still looking for some assistance on this...

With the jumper in place on K10 (RAP relay), I have not located a fuse that is only on with the key turned to accessory. Each of the fuses I have attempted to piggyback on have been "on" at all times.

There are NO fuse on switched power in that fuse box. F17 and 18 are only on when the power is on plus 10 minutes if you don't open the door but the relay has to be in to work properly.

I was afraid that that might be the case. I may have to route wiring up to the fuse box under the hood then ... not what I was wanting to do, but oh well.

Thanks for the reply.
