Some other companies are offering the halo's for the non-RS models and other DRLs and headlight options. Take a look at this thread http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...hlight=hid+kit

Thanks for the reply Justin...my question remains; if you know the 9 LED is too big for the Camaro dome light, why sell it for that application? At the very least let customers know it isn't going to be a perfect fit and recommend the smaller bulb.

I'm sure many other cutomers ARE happy with the smaller bulb as you indicated in your post...probably because it fits!

Well, I finally got my replacement halo ring this week and it works. It certainly took long enough. As for the 5202 bulbs, I stand corrected on the 20% restocking, it was only 15%. Of course it should have been ZERO, since it was a poor quality, low brightness bulb to begin with. For $108.64, I expected a LOT more.
So in conclusion, what I see from AAC is questionable product as to quality and performance, incredibly slow customer service and an overpriced product (the 5202 bulbs). As I stated before, those who have had a good experience with AAC, great. As for me, I am through with AAC. There are other companies with better product and prices.

Wow... I was thinking about placing an order for my Camaro and my Dodge, but I'm gonna rethink it now..... It's one thing when 1 person gives a bad review but looking at this there are quite a few people bashing this company and it all has to do with poor customer service... Which is mind blowing, and can be fixed!!

Same poor customer service for me as well. Would not buy from them again.

allright I was going to keep quiet but I guess I should tell my experience too. I drove about 90 miles to the AAC shop because I wanted to install the HID light kit that weekend. So when I get ready to install, it is missing the wiring harness. I called them and they said they would ship me another one which they did. I then tried to install it and there were extra plugs on the harness and it just wouldnt match up. By the way the instructions in the kit suck very bad. I had to get input from Caverman on Camaro5 just to make sense of it all. He did a DIY thread on here. Anyway I called and spoke to the salesman who had no idea how it all connected together. He put me through to a tech who said "just tape up the extra plugs, you dont need them" I tried that and still no luck with the lights working. I even had my neighbor who is an electrical engineer come take a look and he couldnt figure it out. I called back and spoke to another salesman and a diffrent tech who said I had the wrong wiring harness. So they sent me another one out the next day. All this took a total of 3 weeks. Justin was the last salesman that corrected it all. Very frustrating when I planned on installing it a few days after I drove there to pick it up. They look great and work fine but Im not sure I would use AAC again. I didnt get a 15% discount for my trouble like they would have charged if I sent them back.

I didn't have a very good first impression from my experience at C5F 1. From all the stuff I have read since then, glad I stayed away.

All issues with AAC have been resolved. Everything I bought from them is still working fine. It's a shame that one employee had caused so many problems and ill will. Everyone be advised... I would order and use their products without reservations now.
