I wonder how much that hurts the value like it seems to of done to the rest of us when the cars are modded, even if its done at a dealer like yours was....? I had a Hennessy viper ,and It ended up being worth less than a stock srt10 when it came time to sell it..Even the dealer I purchased it at told if it was stock they would of given me more for it if I traded it in..I am not sure who set this guide line, but the day of stock being worth more needs to come to a end IMOP...If someone improves there house it sells for more, most of the time unless its painted gold and had green carpet inside,lol...Sometimes at auction a modded one out sells a stock version, just saying. It seems we all hurt our self,by continuing to follow this rule..yes I already know what everyone is going to say...

Because modded/souped up cars lead one to believe the care has been abused in the aftermath. Also modded means less reliable in the eyes of many. I don't think those values are gonna change. I personally would never buy a modded car. When I was younger and looking for a good used car, I never wanted the Honda Civic with the big loud pipe in the back.

Traded my 2012 Mustang GT for it. The ZL1 beat out a 2013 Shelby and a 2013 Corvette Grand Sport in my buying decision. I could've afforded any of them, but the ZL1 just spoke to me.
