Finally fixed!

My TQ converter went out and after a month of waiting for the part to come in, it was repaired today. It is very nice to not have my new car violently shake when driving around town.

Glad to see you are back in business!!

Mine is going in for surgery tomorrow for the Torque Converter...fixing the clunk in the rear end hopefully too...and when they do the tear down they are going to check my noise coming from the motor, and I hope it's not bad, but it sure does sound it..

Hex posted this and I brought it up to my dealer and they said they would check it out...

TSB#PIP4554F: Clunk Noise After Shifting From Reverse To Drive Or Drive To Reverse And Then Accelerating--(Jan 11, 2012)

Propeller shaft flange/output shft flange nut replacement (with adhesive) is the prescribed repair method.

I've got a friend that has a HUGE issue when he takes off. He said the car feels just like BNB said, like you're driving over those strips....

So it would be the TQ converter and not the trans?

Still drives great a few days later. The rumble strip example is exactly what it felt like.

Also I think I may have that thump issue you described when shifting to reverse.. probably should have gotten that looked at as well. Thanks for the info.
