Best Wax to use????

I was wondering what everyone's thought was about the best wax to use on my Ashen Gray SS? I know they make a lot of different waxes now pending the color of the vehicle. I have used Pinnacle sovereign on my Harley. It was a great wax however it did not last very long.

lol thats opening a huge can of worms on this forum. thats like asking whats the best diet you can go on or whats the best style of music. everyone has their own opinion and what they swear by. but i know the feeling of having a new car and wanting the best so i'll give some advice ..... at least the little i have.

Adam's polishes has a huge following here and i personally use them. the americana is awesome. actually most of their products work great. they also have in depth how to videos on their website that help a ton.

also this thread is a great read CamaroDreams07 always gives an honest review. its a great place to start.

...other than that technique is more important than product (in my opinion). although almost everyone here will tell you steer clear of autozone/pepboys etc stuff. no doubt about it this section of the forum is packed with opinions on whats best for any ride .......just takes forever to read it all good luck

I think you first need to decide what you want from the wax and what type of driving you do with your Camaro.

If you have a weekend car or show car and want maximum shine, you might want to go with Adams or Blackfire.

If you have a daily drive and need protection or something over the counter, you might want to go with Meguiars or Turtle Wax Ice.

You can also put a wax over a sealant, this is the point where my head starts to spin

Thanks Draven1327 for the info! I have been looking into Adams products. If I'm going to spend the money its helpful to have the knowledge of others who may have experience with the product

Buy the way, I like big cans of worms!

I like the way this guy thinks

Only other thing I'd add is ignore all the claims of waxes being formulated for specific colors. That's just marketing nonsense. All wax is being applied to clear coat.

I've used all kinds of waxes over the years but it always seems like my car gets dusty fast. I starting using Wolfgang sealants a few years ago and never used wax again. About 2 years ago I started using Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant and my cars have never looked better.
