Magnuson Heartbeat TVS2300 superchargers installed on two ZL1's, both 91 Octane.

Well we received our first two Magnuson Heartbeat TVS2300 superchargers for the LSA motors. We immediately went to work installing it on our Ashen Grey 14 automatic, this car was already equipped with our stage 5 upgrade.

The boys wanted to be sneaky so they modified the stock LSA supercharger shroud to fit on the new Heartbeat.

We baselined our car before swapping the S/C and then ran it again with the new Heartbeat upgrade.
Here are the numbers:

We also had a customers Ashen grey, Manual transmission ZL1 here for a stage 5 upgrade, it already had a Roto-fab cold air intake on it. We asked Robert if we could try the other Heartbeat on his car since is was nearly stock, and was a manual. He was more than game to give it a try.

Here are the numbers for that set up. The baseline was done with the Roto-fab intake, and then we installed the new Heartbeat.

Robert has gotten the horsepower bug in a huge way, so we will be going to upgrade to our stage 5 + the Heartbeat but this time in a manual transmission car. Stay tuned for those numbers!

Namala.

Does the 2300 have a much larger cooler/HX than the 1900? Do you have pics of the new 2300 before install?

Whats your stage 5 package? was this run on the same boost as stock? It looks like it in the first graph. But from my understanding the heartbeat comes with a 2.85 upper so what lower are you running?

can you post the boost levels of the two cars??? I am struggling with how this is a huge gain without seeing that.

I mean @12 psi or so the 1.9L will usually be ~570whp now.

I also can't understand how a stage 5 car would only make 615hp. if it really had 2.55upper 18% lower gt-9cam and ported heads.

There's a cutaway on magnusons website that shows the coolers. There's two in the magnuson

Wonder how this compares against the LS9 2300 blower? Which is more efficient ? Cost comparison.

The dyno graph shows it, 12.66 lbs. We ran a 10% overdrive lower on both runs of the automatic car.

The graph for the auto car show's the boost on both runs at 12 lbs on both runs.

We didn't log the boost of the stock manual car, but with the HB it was 12.9 as shown on the graph.

Not sure on that one, though my understanding a new LS9 2300 is a lot more money.
