They estimate 355 HP. How does adding 2 turbos to an LFX only add 32 HP? you can get that with bolt-ons.

probably because many here are guessing that a Z28 and ZL1 would be extremely close in performance and $ wise.

The Base Z06 and Base ZR1 still have 30K seperating them. Yeah they perform very close together but the ZR1 due to the higher price has more of that "exclusiveness" to it IMO that it doesnt get cross shopped with other Corvette models. Where as if someone wants a bad ass camaro, they see a Z28 and ZL1 within a few thousand of each other now you have two models competing against each other.

I agree if they can slot it somewhere in the mid 40 range they got a solid solid solid business case IMO. But if its 50K that IMO is to close to a ZL1

..oh somethings coming, for sure......just what is the question....but small increments and baby steps have been the rule in the recent past, but things seem to have turned a corner and are heading in a progressive delivery timetable. That trend is across the board with regular mass transportation. Technology is breaking out in a big way. I also hope it transends to the high peformance venue with the Camaro in the immediate future where we get the whole plate full, rather than spoon fulls. Maximizing profit with minimal product improvement is a dead business model.

Everyone but you seems to know it is coming. Obviously we do not have 100% irrefutable truth but there have been so many insider hints and the leaked vin cards. It is coming with an Ls7, the only question for me is if they will call it a Z28 and I cant think of a single,reason they wont. Well, we also need to know what cosmetic changes it will have and what breaks and other upgrades will come with it as well as the price.
