Soo umm....
This section has kinda gotten slow so I decided to post this.
What is your opinion on the upgrades I want to do? 1. SS rear (3.45 gears) 2. 1LE rear sways and LCA's 3. New painted bowties red outter and glass black inserts 4. Back to stock SS wheels PC in gloss black 5. Red calipers Give me a new scheme I can do with red and black that would look nice! Thanks Alex

Since it seems your car is more of a drag car, I'd probably put priority on mods that will make you do better in that.
1. The SS rear would be great! Better gearing and the LSD are both pluses in my book. 2. The 1LE rear sways will make you car a lot more fun to drive. 3. You can do these yourself if you want. I have a grey with red theme and it looks really good, black and red will only look better. I'd do it but I personally would just leave it all black and add red halos (or orange if you want to run them all the time). That will make your car look mean! 4. The stock wheels powdercoated black look real good but... A lot of people have them. Don't know if you're trying to be unique or not. 5. Red calipers look really good! Cheap and easy mod if you do it yourself! Ever thought about adding halos as well? I think that might be the only thing your car needs. |

This is actually my daily driver has 63,000 miles on her.
I'm not a fan of doing the aftermarket halos. I would love some RS headlights but they cost to much right now

Yea, I figured it was your DD but I assumed you do more drag than road racing. For that reason, I'd put the ss rear as the better mod.
I know what you mean about the halos, it's a personal preference. I have my retro but if I ever find a sick deal on some rs, ill probably get them just to see what they are like. |

+1
With the Eagle eye's you won't have no issues wiring the halos to come on when you want. And the halos are 4x's brighter. Sent from my iPhone 4s using Tapatalk

tbh this forum has lost my interest, way too many people freaking out about the whole IPF & RX ordeal.

2. Personally wouldn't get 1LE sways, just get an after market set 3. Good 4. Why go to stock wheels, they weigh more 5. Eh.. no a fan of people painting calipers but on the black it might look good.

the LSD w/345's is a good move, I would do cradle bushing inserts as well if you haven't already.
The cosmetic mods sound good, though I'm not a fan of black wheels personally, they do look better on a black car.... I would just put the red caliper covers on, a LOT less work, I get compliments on mine often, calipercovers.com

2. Get Eibach's cheaper and for street driving you will notice a huge differance. The 1LE's would be great b ut cost more too. 3. That would look cool with your black and red theme. 4. I would look into after market lighter wheels. Like the TSW's that I went with. I save over 5 lbs (rotating mass per corner) compared to my stock 19's and those were lighter than the SS wheels and tires. 5. G2 paint and do it yourself. $50. and it looks great too. That is what I am running with my new (used) set-up. What size MT's are you using?
