392's look like a pretty consistent mid 12 sec car to me...... Here are my runs from OCT 9th. Still 100% factory stock and still with 32 PSI in the factory F1 tires. DA was in the +400 to +900 that day. Almost got a 12.3 but not quite. Going again next month to get some better times. Should be able to pull a few 12.3's next time out.

G35 come on man 392 is definitely a mid to low 12 sec car. Sure drivers change things up but all things equal the 392 has a solid 3-5 car advantage over a LS3. It should be faster, its a bit more expensive and smartly priced between a SS/5.0 and a ZL1/GT500. Mid priced with mid performance.

What.....I never said I have a tune. Where in the hell did you get that one from? And my honest opinion about the Diablo tunes for the 2013's......THEY ARE JUNK right now. To many horror stories of things not working or running worse. Or even bricking the PCM's. Im not taking any chances on putting a tune on this thing. Maybe in a year when the bugs are worked out but not now.

The 6.3 392 beats the SS. But the 5.7 hemi is will have your rear plate memorized. Just don't move the wheel away from 0 degrees or bad things will happen. Silly mopar

You realize the durrent SRTs are compared to BMWs in handling right? And SRT8s post better handling numbers than the regular SS (1LE, of course not). The big girls CAN handle. Even the R/T with the STP is a good handler. I find it hilarious pwople put track handling on these cars in such an emphasis when 99.9% of any of them will never even use 70% of their true handling ability.

Have you taken a 392 chally around a few corners? It's adjusting sport suspension makes it handle better than an SS.

I own a 2011 l99. I test drove a 2012 challenger auto this pat aug . You can say what you want about all the time slips...,magazine times or whatever. When I jumped out of my ss and right into the drivers seat of that rt......big difference ,that car feels sluggish compared to mine. Ran it from a dig...20 roll ...40 roll, it just didn't pull as hard as the camaro. I was going to buy one of these cars but I never test drove one until I drove this one. Maybe some modding will help but in reality you can fell the difference between the 2 cars in stock form.

Key letters R/T... Smaller engine less power so no surprise. Time slips posted were done by SRT8 392's. Incase you didn't know there is a difference.... Don't be confused by hemi badges they are not the same.

Did you read my post? I said time slips posted were about SRT8's. He complained about timeslips in a manor that suggested they were wrong compared to his experience driving an RT. Also the topic has evolved past the small hemi. Pay attention to detail.
